Which LinuX destro is good for you?
They’re all good, but that’s not the real trick. What you should be looking for is the distribution you feel most comfortable with. RedHat’s got a rep for being super easy to install, with special tools to simplify configuration. Debian offers some tools too, but you’ll likely need to dive into the command line more often to tweak things. If you’re up for going solo and really mastering config files, Slackware’s your pick. The website http://www.linux.org lists all the available distributions. Ultimately, the best person to pick your favorite distro is you.
