At last I got a chance to get in to ma blogging world again.Now on i’ll try ma best to post some news on ma self . So, got lots to tell you guys(and gals too of course) The Biggest news of’em all iiiiiis ! Guess what! I am not repeating ma A/L’s again! yeh! I had enough of that long boring chemistry syllabus. And I felt like “now’s the time to learn the real stuff”. I even went to classes for few weeks .But couldn’t develop that “A/L spirit”, which I had in the previous attempt. So I thought of doing something different. And I chose the B Sc IT degree program @ SLIIT. I was too late to make my decision. So I won’t be able to join the 2007 batch but 2008. Coz of that I’ll have to wait until this September to sit to the entrance exam. And they will start the program in November with the foundation course of two months which is used to get the weak(unexperienced) students to a reasonably good level. So I’ll have to wait another boring 2 months to start learning the real thing.
This is a four year degree program which contains 8 semesters and I’ll have to pay Rs.57500/= ($550) per semester. (It seems to be increasing annually 😦 but hope it will remain still for couple of semesters. ) Not a good news for a poor geeky boy like me but dad agreed to pay for the whole four years. Thanks Thaththa! You are the best!!!
And there’s something really cool going on out there. SLIIT offer scholarships for the top ranking students. Which means that a geeky student who perform really well at the class and have more than 3.5 points as the average of that semester gets a full scholarship and he doesn’t have to pay for the next semester. Not bad huh?
Coz I got plenty of time available I already started studying the syllabus so that i could study cool at SLIIT. shh! keep quite! don’t tell’em that I Have already Started reading the books for the first semester (ThanX to ma good old buddy Windika for giving his Akki’s Books! thank you akki! for having such a nice brother 🙂 ) and planning not to pay for the second one 😀 … I mean “what else could you expect from a guy who ruined his Engineering dream by sticking around the CyberWorld instead of studying A/L chemistry?”. This is our world! Where else could we perform well if not in this computer world? Every one has his own personal talented area and this one is ours. There are many like Mila da pretty cool (chanuX’s definition to mili) And Mota da dumbest of all to pay you guys without learning anything! 😀 Yeh I mean it! Mili is one of ma best buds but I got lot’s of evidence that he is cutting his lectures and going wild I can’t believe how you’re doing such a stupid thing Mili Stop acting foolish and become a bit responsible!
Anyways Because i got an unexpected freedom now i’m spending all ma time with ma PC and study various subjects from lucid dreaming to Hacking! Remember? Given enough time and plenty of caffeine Hackers could move anything! So do I! 😀
